FBWRA has been monitoring and pressing the Council and Thames Water to act in relation to the long standing drainage issues affecting residents of Chaville Court. Unfortunately this is a case where several organisations, none of which is recognised for a proactive and dynamic approach – Barnet Council, its agency, Barnet Homes, Thames Water and Network Rail.
You can follow the details in the FBWRA Newsletters on this site, but the current position is that even though Thames Water have done some works, the situation remains as bad as ever, and for further work Thames requires requires access to Network Rail land. Not an unusual situation one would think, yet the necessary assess licence seems to be taking months to be finalised. Why?
